2,600 women confirmed as trafficking victims working in UK brothels
The Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) reported that 2,600 women who were working in UK brothers are confirmed human trafficking victims. Another 9,200 women were considered to be vulnerable and may have been trafficked, but were unable to fully confirm their status.
Of the estimated 30,000 women working in brothels in the United Kingdom, 17,000 were found to have been migrants from foreign countries.
Of the 2,600 confirmed trafficking victims, 2,200 were from Asia with a majority coming from China.

Percentage of men who are customers of prostitution in Bulgaria
The percentage of men in Bulgaria who are believed to be customers of prostitutes is estimated to be 6 percent of males aged 15 to 64.
In 2009, the average price paid for a sex act was $25 (40 Bulgarian Leva). The fee was down from the $37 (60 Bulgarian Leva) paid prior to the world economic crisis.

90 percent of prostitutes in Spain are victims of human trafficking
According to reports mentioned by the US State Department, 90 percent of prostitutes working in the prostitution industry in Spain are forced to work as prostitutes.
