Heroin Use in China

In 2010, there were 1.1 million registered users of heroin in China, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Heroin users in China account for 70 percent of all heroin consumption in East Asia and the Pacific. The number of users has risen 22 percent between 2002 and 2010.
