Market Overview
According to the United States Department of State, 45,000 to 50,000 people from Colombia are estimated to be involved in prostitution in other countries. It is believed that " many" of those involved in prostitution overseas are due to the results of human trafficking.
In addition, 6,000 to 11,000 children are trafficked within Colombia as child soldiers and other labor activities.
