Women prostitutes working on the Indonesian island of Java earn between $784 to $1,120 (7 to 10 Million Indonesian Rupiah) a month.

In an attempt to stop the sex trade, local government officials were offering the women $335 (3 Million Rupiah) to quit prostitution.
