in Transnational Crime

According to a 2013 report released by Europol, there are around 3,600 organized crime groups operating across the European Union. These gangs are active in black market rackets such as drug trafficking and human trafficking. In order to increase their revenue, criminals are diversifying their activities and are increasingly committing acts of  fraud and counterfeiting products.
