Price of Baby in North Caucasus region of Russia

Police arrested a women in the North Caucasus region of Russia for baby trafficking as she sold a newborn child to an undercover police. The price the woman was selling the baby for was $17,500 (550,000 Roubles).

The trafficking ring consisted of 12 people who worked across the region. Some of the traffickers worked in hospitals where they would take babies and offer them for sale.
