In his final report to Congress, Mexico President Felipe Calderon stated that authorities seized over 75 tons of methamphetamine, 114 tons of cocaine, and nearly 11,000 tons of marijuana during his six year term. Also seized by law enforcement from drug cartels in the country was over 100,000 vehicles, 515 boats, 578 aircraft, and over $1 Billion in cash.
In total, President Calderon stated that the total economic loss to the drug cartels during 2006 to 2012 was $14.5 Billion.
