Drug Use in Australia

14.7 percent of Australians used an illegal drug in 2010, according to a drug survey released by Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. The number of users was up from the 13.4 percent in 2007, but down from the 16.7 percent of the total population in 1995.

One of out every twenty women in the country in their 20s used cocaine in 2010, a 60 percent increase from 2007.
