Heroin Addicts Registered in China

In 2010, there were 1.1 million registered users of heroin in China, according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.

Heroin addiction in China create a demand that leads to 70 percent of all heroin consumption in East Asia and the Pacific. The number of addicts has risen 22 percent between 2002 and 2010.
