Human Trafficking Convictions by the US Government between 2000 to 2009

From the passage of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Prevention Act in 2000 until 2009, the United States Federal Government brought 196 human trafficking cases that resulted in convictions against 419 people.

During this time, there were an estimated 14,500 to 17,500 people who were trafficked in to the United States.
