Number of Human Trafficking Prosecutions in Russia

The Interior Ministry of Russia prosecutes between 1,000 to 2,000 cases of human trafficking in the country each year, with most cases resulting in convictions.

Up to one million people in Russia are at risk of labor trafficking by working in conditions that are considered “exploitative”, according to a report by the Migration Research Center.
