Security services at Bangkok International Airport stopped a first-class passenger who had various live animals in his suitcases.
According to a report by the Associated Press, the man had baby leopards, panthers, monkeys and a bear. All of the animals were drugged in order to pass out and were all headed for Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
In Thailand, leopard cats and panthers are available for sale on the black market at prices of $5,000. In Dubai, due to the high demand for exotic animals as pets, the animals would have probably been sold at a higher price, according to wildlife experts.
