Marijuana seizures in California Forests

In 2008, 2.9 million marijuana plants were seized by authorities in California forests.  Halfway through 2009, 3.4 million marijuana plants were seized.

80 percent of the plants that were seized in 2009 were found on either Federal or State owned land.
