Russian Money Laundered to Offshore Bank Accounts in 2011

Security officials in Russia reported that an estimated $32 Billion (One Trillion Russian Rubles) left the country in 2011 due to money laundering activities.

Money that leaves Russia under questionable circumstances are usually sent to offshore bank accounts in Cyprus, France, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Latvia and Switzerland.
