Size and budget of the US Drug Enforcement Administraiton

The US Drug Enforcement Administration was created in 1972 with 2,775 employees and a budget of $65.20 Million.

Since then, the DEA’s budget and personnel has grow almost every year, with its budget growing every year expect once between 1972 and 2009.

In 2009, the DEA employed 10.784 people and had a budget of $2.6 Billion.
