Victims of Human Trafficking from India

in Transnational Crime

Security and intelligence officials estimate that up to 3 million people from India fall victim to human trafficking crimes around the world.

The number of victims consists of 43 percent of all expatriates from India, according to United States 2010 Trafficking Report.

Within the country, 90 percent of the trafficking activities consists of Indian citizens.
